- The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how you can use osha lab explorer to examine osha's dataset.

- The cursor hovers and selects location filter header.
- Video Description
- The top portion of the lab has six filter catagories to choose from to customize the graph. Location is the first catagory which allows you to pick from available states.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor hovers and selects 'OSHA Offices' filter header.
- Video Description
- OSHA Offices catagory allows you to pick from federal, state or both offices.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor clicks on California for location filter.
- Computer Action
- The browser recalculates the graph to show california data.

- The cursor hovers over the right pop-up panel.
- Video Description
- The right panel of the lab has additional inpesction, violation and penelties graphs pertaining to the selected critrea.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor clicks on health in the inspection catagory.
- Computer Action
- The browser recalculates the graph to show health inspection data.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor highlights the list of currently selected filters on the far right.
- Computer Action
- At any time in your search, you can view what search filters have been selected.

- The cursor moves the vertical slider on the right of the graph.
- Computer Action
- There is a vertical slider on the right side of the lab that allows you to change the range of the y-axis of the graph.

- The cursor moves the horizontal slider below the graph.
- Video Description
- There is a horizontal slider below the graph that allows you to change the range of dates reflected on the graph.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor highlights the date on the right panel which reflects the date range selected in the range.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor moves the horizontal slider to 2011-2011.
- Computer Action
- The graph recomputes the graph to show data only in that date range.
- Mouse Action
- The cursor hovers over the 'remember' button

- a pop-up appears that shows all the values and filters currently selected. When the remember button is clicked, the browser will remember the values associated with the current search.

- The cursor clicks on a point on the graph

- You can select another line on the graph to view associated data.

- The cursor highlghts the filter criterea on the top right corner.

- Whenever the search critereas change, it will be reflected in the list in the top right corner.

- A pop-up appears that has a dictionary of terms used in the lab.
